This museum was founded for the purpose of introducing the fine works of a surrealistic artist called "Do-ki" to all the people in the world.

He died in May, 2002 leaving numerous number of wonderful works without having them made public before his death.
He would never open his mouth without saying "truly good art works will be appreciated and admitted after the death of an artist."
Like his saying, in spite of the brilliant achievements in his career, he has stayed away from Japanese media.

Now, with the consent of his wife, it is our great pleasure to be able to display his amazing works in our gallery and have them debut.
